Super excited to ride in an airplane and go to Disneyland.
Just as exciting as Disneyland? The hotel pool and little water park. This is about 2 minutes after we checked into the hotel, and she already has her swimsuit out and is ready to change.
We figured that while we were waiting to get into the park, it was a good time to get the classic picture in front of the castle.
Waiting in line. We did that pretty often (although it really wasn't too bad the first day).
Meimei is usually scared to death of merry-go-rounds, but her confidence grew as soon as she realized Daddy would be sitting with her, and she even smiled a bit...
Eating at the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney. This turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of the trip; to this day Meimei still says, "Jungle, raining!" (It looked like it was raining on top of that wall just behind us, there was a huge fish tank, lots of animal sounds, and an occasional "thunderstorm.") The food was really good too. ;)
Waiting for the parade to start. Meimei found her own form of entertainment...
Snack break!
Swimming. Mouse and I did this every afternoon while Daddy and Meimei napped and took it easy up in the hotel room. She LOVED it. Almost more than Disneyland. Almost.
Another classic. (Had to have record that I was there too.)
I just love this picture.
Meimei and Daddy sat and watched airplanes come and go for a solid 30 minutes at LAX. She is quite taken with them, and gets excited whenever she sees/hears one. She even makes a great airplane sound. Grandpa and Uncle Jordan should be so proud.
And this was Mouse pretty much the whole way home.
