Realization

I'm sitting at the computer reading blogs and checking emails as Mouse naps beside me on the couch. Realizing it's getting dark, I reach over and turn on the lamp. That's when I notice her wide-open eyes.

Me: "Hey, I didn't know you were awake!"

My thoughts at this point: "Wow. I just said that to my one-month old. How often does that happen?"

*update: Yeah, that quiet lasted for about 5 minutes. Maybe. ;)
