Two Weeks

I can't believe it's been two weeks. It's seemed like a little longer than that... ;)

We been adjusting and trying to find our balance. Mouse is doing so well. In general she sleeps for 2-3 hours then eats (grazes, really) for about an hour. Her record at night is 3.5 hours. Unfortunately, that was the thrid night after we brought her home, and she hasn't passed nor even reached that since. It makes for a sleepy Mommy.

Mouse had her two week check-up yesterday: perfectly healthy, now 8 lbs 1 oz and 21 inches long. No wonder we had to loosen the straps of her car seat a little. She was such a good girl, but she didn't like the PKU test AT ALL. (Neither did Mommy - but at least she was good and didn't cry...)

It is so sad when they get the PKU test. Hopefully she'll start sleeping a little longer for you soon.

Those tests are awful.

I can't wait to hold her!! And hey, she's already doing much better than either of my newborns did with sleeping.

That test was so hard wasn't it! I wasn't aware that he had to do it until they started taking blood! AAAHHH! I hope life gets better for you and that she starts to sleep though the night....I feel your pain there!

When life calms down and you feel like you are well rested (well, I don't know when that will be) I would LOVE to do something with you!

Dayna, YES! I think I'm ready for something else happening around here (even if it is short and still leaves great time for a nap...:))
